Wonderful old Metal Fuel Can used "for as long as I can remember" on the three-generation family farm of Retired Art Professor, D. F. Hyde, and depicted in his original watercolor painting, also listed. Beautifully rusted and bent from age and use, this great old can measures about 19" tall, 14" diameter. It is a "5-gallon Standard Measure, Butler Mfg. Co., K.C. -- MLPS." can and is so-stated on the side of the can. The message around the upper opening states, "fill to this edge."
