| Ornate, pierced Sterling Silver Pen Tray (also called "snuffer tray") with "L & S" date mark of 1898 by Levi & Salamon, Birmingham, England; also marked "Sterling," and with the hallmarks of lion, y, and anchor. One cartouche is engraved, "Ebba", and the other is engraved "1899". Tray is 9.50" long, about 3.25" wide, and .75" tall. Condition is good, with obvious signs of wear to the tray base consising of several very tiny "dings", a diagoinal shallow surface scratch, some tiny pinching near the sides, and slight pinching the length of the tray, as if it had been squeezed. There is a small split at one end, and a few spots where a bit of the original lacquer remains.
