| Possibly Venini; Vetro Inciso (machine-made parallel grooves throughout) fingerbowl and underplate in pale aquamarine, with modified scalloped edges, tool-worked all the way around each rim, soffiati (very thin blown glass). The Vetro Inciso technique was developed by Paolo Venini in the mid-1950s. Venini is most known for more simple and modern Vetro inciso designs. This set, however, retains modified characteristics of the 19th Century fingerbowls and underplates, while presenting a slightly more modern style of the 20th Century. It essentially combines both the old and the new designs. Bowl is 5" (12.7 cm) diameter by 2.75" (6.98 cm) high, plate is 6.25" (15.87 cm) diameter by 1" (2.54 cm) high.
