Superior 19th C (1890-1900) double-overlay art glass, CHALICE or FOOTED GOBLET, created in one piece of mouth blown glass from top to base, inclusive of the bowl, a self-knop, pedestal stem, and the foot.

Moorish style cuts begin at the outer layer of blue, to white, to clear, and then further cut into concave patterns in all of the overlay designs with the exception of the fluted cuts on the pedestal base which end flush with the clear layer, and the single encircling cut near the rim...

Verre LALIQUE "Bourgueil" CORDIAL, signed on the base, "Lalique, France." Measures about 3" tall, 2" rim diameter, 1-1/2" base diameter. Excellent undamaged condition.

This item is ANTIQUE, and has expected wear from display and age, however very little. At the most, there is a little wear to the gilt, and that is primarily at the lower edge where the plate may have rested in a shelf groove.
