Outstanding 19th Century European Lamp which was likely converted from a kerosene lamp or an elegant samovar; exquisite enameling, and patterned gilding throughout; very likely Russian in origin, but we cannot guarantee.

We believe this is gold-plating over white metal, although the metal in some areas seems to be bronze. Four lion masks corresponding with each corner of the base; four hanging decorative triangles, four large and stylized paw feet atop scrolling acanthus leaves.
