Vintage Gorham Sterling Silver Cake Breaker, marked "Gorham Sterling Handle." There is no mark on the tines, although it does have the look of stainless steel. It could, however, be silver plated, as were some Gorham cake breakers in this pattern. Priced as if the tines were stainless. 11" long, tines measure 4.50" x 3.50". An artifact from a 3-generation, Kansas farm (see provenance notes below), Copper and Brass Bucket with handle which easily folds down to the rim, although we do not have a photo of it down. Overall measurement is about 13" diameter, 12.5" tall. Condition is well worn, as seen in the photos, including verdigris, rust, a few minor dents, lots of scuffs from use. Pair of thick and heavy Sterling Silver Napkin Rings, with the impressed "Alvin Sterling" hallmark and the pattern number "571-1". Lovely repousse scrolling leaf pattern around center, flanked by a row of beading on either side. Both edges of the ring are reinforced with thick, outward folds.
