Two beautiful pieces of 1950s Murano Art Glass, a bowl and matching lighter. Both the bowl and lighter are sommerso glass suspended within crystal clear, although it is difficult to see the outer crystal layer on the bowl; please trust us that it's there. Mid-20th Century Murano Opaline Tumbler with gold foil label of importer which reads: "Murano Opaline Glass Hand Blown in Italy Exclusively for Jakson." There is a small, non-threatening, open bubble on the rim, very common to Murano art glass, and original to manufacture; considered therefore, to be in excellent condition emitting lovely shades of blue, pink, and yellow in varying light. 4" (10.16 cm) high, 2.75" (6.98 cm) diameter at rim. $12 US Shipping.

A magnificent, huge Italian art glass bowl, at 17" (43.18 cm) long, 11.5" (29.21 cm) wide, 4" (10.16 cm) tall, and .50" (1.27 cm) glass thickness! Attributed to Venini in the 1930s, when leaf bowls were a popular form by their top designers; plus the piece exhibits Venini's superb quality. Mid-20th Century Dino Martens Art Glass Lamp, for Areliano Toso glassworks. Unmarked, but unmistakable, documented designer and maker. Wavy lattimo (white) cane alternates 3-to-1 with brilliant, pure copper aventurine cane, in a typical Martens style and the pattern, "chevron reticello." Very rare colors in this "canne di fusione," fused canes 1950s Murano Art Glass Bowl, sometimes referred to as a "ribbon bowl."
