Fine quality bowl, white Opaline Art Glass, likely French in origin. Wide glass rim has been smoothly polished, with minute specs of open bubbles having emerged from the polishing (common and usual in blown glass). The inside has four lovely gilt butterflies, with gilt on the outside rim and the foot. 6.50" diameter across the rim, 2.75" diameter at the base, and 3.25" tall.
