Three vintage bisque porcelain busts of children for one price, by Benacchio for Tay, one of Italy's foremost figurine manufacturers. A matching pair, polychrome boy and girl, on a wood base, and monocolor boy on gilt porcelain base. Each piece is signed by the artist, see photos. The artist's particular style has many fine tips, several of which appear to have broken off, but not at all detracting from the appearance or value, again, see photos. Vintage two-piece, fine quality, porcelain box in Italian Chintz, "Dresden" type handpainted flowers, signed on the base, "Italy, 5-6-963," in gold. Box on three ball feet, with gilt trim, raised pink roping, blue chintz flowers all around, all hand-painted. 3.25" (8.25 cm) tall, 3.25" (8.25 cm) wide. Excellent condition with very minor loss of gilt. Early-to-mid 20th century. $10 US Shipping.
