Huge, gorgeous, distinctively shaped, deeply etched with nudes and putti, blown crystal vase, 17" tall, nearly 8" diameter, 3.5" diameter opening, flat polished base. Body of the vase has two lovely reclining nude females and two putti, while the upper portion has one upright nude standing in a scallop shell, and one winged, violin-playing putti--6 figures total, and other etched decorative motifs. American handmade, handpainted naive, folk pine box. Cherry red ground with blue and white painted sailing ship flying an American stars and stripes flag on lid; anchor and snake on face of box. Brass hinges; marks on the sides where handles were once affixed. 12.50" wide, 6.25" deep, 5.75" tall (31.75 x 15.87 x 14.60 cm).
