This is a splendid Cross or Crucifix, substantial Sterling Silver (marked "925"), and set with 64 Cabochon Iridescent Blue Moonstones, a gem found in Sri Lanka, Burma, and India. Large, the Cross measures 4" long x 2-5/8" wide x 3/16 deep. Several of the stones have natural inclusions; the piece overall is in excellent condition with only normal wear marks on the back. $8.50 US Shipping.
From the second Egyptian Revival period, we believe, following the discovery of King Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922, a 2" diameter Sterling Silver Pendant and 18" chain; two impressed Egyptian hallmarks on verso, one a symbol repeated in similar jewelry found during our research, which we interpret to indicate "sterling."
