Striking solid silver overlay blown glass bottle with matching overlay stopper, in trailing vine styling. We do not find the maker's name, but suggest it is American. Monogrammed cartouche, center front; and Sterling mark on lower center verso, "Solid Silver, 2535, Patented." Mouthblown bottle has a large polished pontil, and the number "18" hand-engraved in the center. Pair of 19th Century Patch Boxes, or Jars; Sterling Silver, chased lids, both lids without damage. Each marked twice, "Sterling," and "Sterling BENS." Faceted Crystal bases are unmarked; with the exception of one tiny chip to one jar, pictured, they are in superb condition. Both were found packed in a 19th Century trunk among several fine articles from the 1800s. Diminutive, Antique Box in silver or pewter, which was used either as a snuff box or a patch box, measuring just over 1.5" (3.81 cm) long, 1" (2.54 cm) wide, and .75" (1.90 cm) tall. Condition is as seen, with some of the metal missing on the lion, although the patina nicely camouflages this for display, and other wear as seen. Fine quality, ornate, silverplated Mirror Plateau, with patterned bevel, rose and scroll festooned drape, and 5 inverted fleur de'lis feet. 12.25" (31.11 cm) diameter, 13.75" (34.92 cm) base diameter, 2.25" (5.71 cm) tall. A few minor scratches on the mirror (may be seen in photos), some silver loss, although very nice patina; otherwise excellent condition with no silver loss to mirror at all.
