Luscious pair of English Mouthblown Art Glass Vases, attributed to Stevens & Williams, Stourbridge, England, blue cased rims and neck, over creamy white glass which appears custard-yellow in some lighting. The thorned handles have an opalescent fire when held to the light. Some of the raised gilding remains on the front floral pattern, but most of the gilding has worn away, revealing the still attractive under-enamel in an amethyst color. Ruffled rim and opalescent dots graduated from small to larger, on this lovely antique ice glass fingerbowl. Large polished pontil. Unsigned, and attributed to Whitefriars, England, and probably by Harry Powell. 5.25" (13.33 cm) diamter, 2.5" (6.35 cm) tall. Excellent condition. c. 1877-1910. $12 US Shipping.

Covered Blown glass tankard, or stein, with thick, applied handle, pewter hinge which appears to be hand-forged, extended horsehead decoration. Commemorative message on beveled glass lid inset which reads in script, "Ch. Fennel 12/7 79." The engraved initials, "F. L." appear on the reverse of the glass, under the horse.
