Rare, brown, underglaze mark of 1870, Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Company, Fenton, Great Britain, 39-Piece Porcelain Dessert Set with white ground, partially hand-decorated in delicate, pastel floral, transfer pattern, with brown gadroon border and gilded rim. One Creamer, one Sugar (or waste bowl), 12 Dessert Plates, 12 Deep Saucers, 11 Teacups, and two Luncheon size plates. Porcelain, Salmon pink ground on this elegant Jug, Creamer, by Royal Crown Derby, in a most graceful style; antique, with mark as early as 1890. Hand-gilded in raised bamboo pattern, differing on each side, and under the spout; gold bamboo stem handle, gilded rim and base. 4.75" (12.06 cm) tall, 3.5" (8.89 cm) largest diameter, plus handle. One small scratch (pictured) above gilding; otherwise excellent condition. c. 1890-1921. $12 US Shipping.
