Wonderful tall and wide "squared" Pitcher/Jug by John Edwards, England, in their "Victory" pattern/shape with figural, Dolphin Handle. The Rd mark dates this piece to 1885. It measure 12" tall, 8.375" from spout-to-handle, 4.75" width across opening, 4.50" diameter base, and about 8.25" x 8" largest portion of the body. Wake up to this sitting on your vanity, full of lilacs, an uncommon pleasure. Quite large and heavy. $28 US Shipping.

Offered as a pair, rare, exquisite portraits of brother and sister, skillfully handpainted in 1881 by "F. A. Francis, NY." Both plates are marked by impression, "Wedgwood WG," and both are signed on the front by the artist, the girl also being dated. Slightly larger than his sister, the boy's charger is a generous 15" diameter, while the girl's charger is nearly 14" diameter. Both are in excellent undamaged condition. Rarely available, hand enameled, transferware lotus pattern Dinner Plate, scalloped rim, by Royal Doulton, with green underglaze Lambeth & Burslem mark, used from 1902. We judge this to be an early piece, rarely available, about 1917. Pattern number #E2924. 10.25" diameter. Porcelain, Salmon pink ground on this elegant Jug, Creamer, by Royal Crown Derby, in a most graceful style; antique, with mark as early as 1890. Hand-gilded in raised bamboo pattern, differing on each side, and under the spout; gold bamboo stem handle, gilded rim and base. 4.75" (12.06 cm) tall, 3.5" (8.89 cm) largest diameter, plus handle. White ground with polychrome handpainted florals completely around this early 20th Century porcelain Milk Jug, Pitcher, by Royal Worcester, England. The spout is actually a face, and the handle is elaborately scrolled and gilded. Gilding also rims the top and base of the pitcher.
