French Opaline Open Urn sits suspended in its own bronze, three-footed mount. The base of the urn has a large, faceted knop. We suggest this might originally have been a goblet which was probably damaged at some point, and we have here a clever rescue; the remaining goblet stem was faceted on the grinding wheel, and the bronze mount was custom made for this piece. Small, mold blown, Pair of Vases in sapphire blue, with Sterling Silver Overlay completely around each vase. Impressed mark on one vase is "VA" conjoined, the letter "O", and finally a mark that may be "TP" conjoined, possibly the little-known John G. Petite 19th Century Guilloche Enameled Sterling Silver with Vermeil overlay (gold), Demitasse Spoon. Two tiny enameled blue and white flowers on either side, where the metal and the enamel meet. Both the guilloche and the enameled flowers are on front and verso of the spoon.
